The Pacific Waves DTS is a multi generational, multi-track DTS located in untouched paradise. Our base is located in Vanuatu, a beautiful South Pacific Island nation, located a short flight from Australia and Fiji.
Vanuatu is known as one of the friendliest places on earth, where you will be greeted with friendly smiles, and heartfelt island hospitality every day. You’ll get to visit beautiful palm lined beaches, rainforest waterfalls, enjoy sun, surf, aqua blue lagoons and explore pristine coral reefs.
Phase 1 · 12 weeks
Lecture phase
27 Feb – 21 May 2027
Study God’s word, learn to hear His voice and explore the depths of His nature and character. An opportunity to ignite a passion within to pray, worship, and serve God with an undivided heart.
Phase 2 · 8–10 weeks
Outreach phase
24 May – 16 Jul 2027
Either in country or another nation. Share Gods love and the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, answering the call to “Go into all the world and teach (make disciples of) all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)

DTS is a certified YWAM University of Nations course. It is a prerequisite for all other courses in the University of the Nations, and also serves to orient and prepare all new Youth With A Mission (YWAM) staff.
